The State of Computer Science Research

Over the years, computer science research has been extremely recognized worldwide for its beneficial contributions in many aspects such as in health, national security and businesses. Some of its contributions to national security are unmanned robotic vehicles for surveillance, virtual reality and GPS. In businesses, through the use of information technology, productivity is increased. And recently, computer science research has made its breakthrough in robotic surgery. Robotic surgery is known for its advantages in remote, minimally invasive and unmanned surgery. Intuitive Surgical Incorporated has launched da Vinci Surgical Systems. This da Vinci Surgical system comprises of surgeon’s console, patient-side cart, vision system and surgical accessories.
